International Premiere: MATILDA — The Devil’s Gene by Kumiko Endo — Director Attending for Master Class
About the Film
In a future where violence has seemingly vanished, a clandestine program known as the Matilda Plan targets the so‑called “Devil’s Gene,” believed to underlie human aggression. As timelines intersect across past, present, and future, the story follows 9 (Nine)—a descendant of Professor Matilda—whose encounter with the outlawed being “Y” awakens a forbidden bond and forces a reckoning with the ethics of evolution, memory, and love.
“In a world without men, one encounter changes everything.”
Full program details, and screening schedule will be announced soon.
